WSP is currently looking to hire a Saudi national Infrastructure Engineer to support the supervision of a major infrastructure project in Madinah. The role requires hands-on experience in supervising bridges, tunnels, and associated infrastructure works.
This is a site-based role and will be instrumental in ensuring that all construction activities meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance with design specifications.
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities related to bridges, tunnels, and associated infrastructure to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Review and provide feedback on shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and other technical documents submitted by the contractor.
- Ensure construction works align with project requirements, safety standards, and client expectations.
- Coordinate with contractors, sub-contractors, and other consultants on technical issues and resolve site-based challenges in a timely manner.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control and quality assurance processes are implemented effectively.
- Assist in reviewing contractor progress, identifying risks or delays, and supporting corrective actions when needed.
- Maintain clear documentation and prepare daily/weekly site reports.
- Participate in technical meetings and contribute to decision-making with the supervision team.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- SCE registration is mandatory.
- Must be a Saudi national.
- Minimum 5–8 years of relevant site supervision experience in infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record working on bridges, tunnels, and major civil infrastructure.
- Familiarity with local construction regulations, safety practices, and international engineering standards.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks on a live construction site.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills in English
