We are looking for a talented Electrical Design Engineer to join our team, contributing to the design and development of electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure projects across KSA.
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, conduct site assessments, and ensure that all projects adhere to the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance with regulations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering principles, with experience in creating designs for new electrical infrastructure projects.

requirements
- Develop electrical designs for EV charging stations, including layout, power requirements, and safety features.
- Create detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure that works are designed to minimise risks during the construction, operation, maintenance and decommissioning/demolition phases.
- Ensure that all designs meet regulatory, statutory, client and industry requirements.
- Develop and maintain best relationships with clients, asset owners, partners and designers.
- Ensure the company is compliant in all aspects of accreditation schemes held.
Eliminate as much risk as possible (both environmental and safety) and that any remaining risks are clearly communicated to the Project Manager responsible for the works.

Desirable:
Experience in electrical OM or similar software like Amtech.
- Degree in Electrical Power Engineering or similar, or have completed an industry-recognised qualification and / or have experience designing OHL / Underground / Substation infrastructure in the past 5 years.
- Minimum Experiece of 3 years as a Design Engineer or similar.
- Experience in EV designs or similar.
- Capable of managing clients expectations and leading calls.
- Valid Driving Licence.
- Ability to use AutoCAD.
Desirable:
- Relevant experience within the last 5 years with a DNO, IDNO or ICP.
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or working towards it is highly desirable.
Experience in electrical OM or similar software like Amtech.
