Job Description Details:
Role Purpose:
Lead geometric design validation for major road/bridge infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with international standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and validate horizontal/vertical road geometry designs
- Provide technical oversight on alignment, profile, and cross-section accuracy
- Resolve complex geometric design conflicts through coordination with multidisciplinary teams
- Conduct quality assurance checks for design deliverables
- Mentor junior engineers on highway design best practices
- Interface with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities
Required Experience:
- Minimum 15 years in highway/roadway design engineering
- Proven experience with large-scale bridge and road infrastructure projects (>$50M value)
- Extensive background in geometric design validation and design standards implementation
- Demonstrated leadership in design review processes
Special Requirements:
- Willingness to conduct site visits and field verification
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Exceptional problem-solving skills for geometric design challenges
