Job Purpose:
Responsible for supervising and coordinating all mechanical maintenance activities to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient plant operations. Oversee technicians, schedules, preventive maintenance, turnaround activities, and ensure compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate mechanical maintenance, installation, testing, and repair of plant equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, motors, etc.).
Plan and monitor preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company procedures.
Prepare and review reports on maintenance activities, manpower, materials, and budgets.
Analyze equipment failures, recommend corrective actions, and supervise repairs.
Coordinate turnaround and emergency maintenance activities.
Manage spare parts availability and approve stock levels.
Provide training, coaching, and performance evaluation for team members.
Liaise with Operations, Materials, Contractors, and Vendors to ensure maintenance efficiency.
Requirements:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
12–15 years of maintenance experience in the petrochemical industry.
Minimum 10 years in a supervisory role, preferably in the Middle East.
Strong knowledge of rotating & static equipment maintenance.
Hands-on experience with CMMS (preferably SAP).
Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills.
