We are hiring a seasoned Rig Mechanic with over 20 years of hands-on experience in mining and geotechnical drilling. The ideal candidate is highly familiar with BLY, Desco, Fraste, Jinshi, EDM, and Austex rigs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the maintenance department and rig fleet
- Train and mentor junior mechanics
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on-site and in workshop
- Identify and maintain stock of critical mechanical parts
- Inspect and verify quality of fabricated parts and machining work
Requirements:
- Extensive experience with multiple rig models (BLY, Desco, Fraste, Jinshi, EDM, Austex preferred)
- Strong mechanical and tool proficiency
- Proven ability to manage a team and maintenance operations
- Familiarity with machining standards and part fabrication
- Available to relocate and work in Saudi Arabia
