Job Summary:
The Marketing Manager for the fittings and pipes sector in the plastics industry is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to promote our product lines and support overall business growth. This role requires an in-depth understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics within the industry. The Marketing Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, product development, and customer service, to create effective marketing campaigns, enhance brand awareness, and increase market share. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B marketing, digital marketing, and brand management, along with excellent communication and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Monitoring and Evaluation:
Oversee market movements and assess the impact of competitors' products on customers through intensive field visits, geographic customer and competitor surveys.
- Develop Dynamic Action Plans:
Identify and evaluate gaps and obstacles, then develop and implement strategic plans to address them after assessing their severity.
Main Responsibilities:
Develop Marketing Strategy:
- Create and implement effective marketing strategies and plans for plastics fittings and pipes.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify target markets, customer needs, and industry competitive landscape.
Brand Management:
- Enhance brand positioning and awareness through various marketing channels.
- Maintain consistency of brand messaging across all marketing materials and communications.
Digital Marketing:
- Oversee digital marketing efforts, including website management, SEO, email marketing, social media campaigns, and online advertising.
- Monitor, analyze, and improve digital performance metrics to maximize ROI.
Product Marketing:
- Develop and implement product marketing plans, including product launches, promotional campaigns, and sales support materials.
- Work closely with product development teams to ensure marketing strategies align with new product offerings and improvements.
Sales Support:
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide marketing support, including sales tools, presentations, and promotional materials.
- Develop and execute training programs for sales teams regarding new products and marketing initiatives.
Event Management:
- Plan and execute trade fairs, industry conferences, and customer events.
- Design booth layouts, promotional materials, and presentation content for these events.
Content Creation:
- Oversee the production of high-quality content such as brochures, catalogs, videos, blogs, and case studies.
- Ensure all content is relevant, engaging, and aligned with the company’s marketing objectives.
Budget Management:
- Develop and oversee the marketing budget to ensure cost-effectiveness and alignment with business goals.
- Track marketing expenses and analyze the return on investment of marketing initiatives.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work with internal stakeholders including sales, product development, and customer service teams.
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners such as advertising agencies, media outlets, and industry associations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- At least 14 years of marketing experience, including 6 years in a managerial role, preferably in the plastics industry or a related field.
- Proven experience in B2B marketing, brand management, and digital marketing.
- Strong understanding of market research, customer segmentation, and competitive analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in marketing tools and software (CRM, SEO tools, Google Analytics).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a marketing team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems.
- Knowledge of plastic manufacturing processes and product applications.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in organizing and managing trade shows and events.
- Knowledge of the plumbing and piping products market.
- Professional certifications such as CIM, CMP, CMMP, etc.
