This role requires a strong understanding of logistics principles, transportation regulations, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of planning and coordinating logistics activities, optimizing supply chain processes, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. Job Description: - Planning & Coordination: Develop and execute logistics plans covering transportation, warehousing, distribution, and inventory to ensure efficiency. - Transportation: Select carriers, negotiate rates, manage shipments, and ensure regulatory compliance while optimizing costs and delivery times. - Inventory: Monitor and control stock levels, coordinate with procurement/production, and use systems to improve accuracy and efficiency. - Warehouse: Oversee receiving, storage, and dispatch; ensure safe handling; and optimize space and processes. - Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to customs, transport, and legal requirements. - Site Logistics: Assess site-specific constraints, provide updates, and adapt plans accordingly. - Continuous Improvement: Track performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and adopt best practices and new technologies.
Requirements
Qualifications: - 15 Years’ experience including 3 years' experience on similar Projects with Middle East project experience. - Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field. - Proven experience in logistics coordination and operations. - Strong knowledge of logistics principles, transport regulations, and inventory management. - Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Certifications: - CPIM or equivalent certification. - Experience with logistics software and technologies. - Knowledge of customs procedures and international trade regulations.
