Logistics Manager - Al Musanid

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or distribution operations.
• In-depth understanding of warehousing, shipping, customs, delivery, and distribution workflows.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage field operations efficiently.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and/or Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Strong analytical skills for tracking performance, optimizing costs, and improving delivery.
• Knowledge of transportation, safety, and quality regulations.
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English.
Ability to perform well under pressure in fast-paced environments.

  2. Role Summary:
  
  The Logistics Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the entire supply chain cycle—from receiving goods to final delivery—while optimizing efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  
  Key Responsibilities:
  
• Manage day-to-day transportation, delivery, and distribution operations.
• Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and clients to ensure seamless logistics flows.
• Continuously improve supply chain efficiency and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Develop and enforce operational and logistics policies and procedures.
• Oversee delivery schedules, storage, and inventory control.
• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery time, order accuracy, and shipping costs.
• Ensure compliance with logistics, transport, and safety regulations.
• Prepare regular performance reports for senior management, highlighting challenges and proposing solutions.

3. Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as:
  • CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional)
  CLTD (Certified in Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution) are a plus.
  

Experience:

• Practical experience managing logistics operations within Saudi Arabia or the Gulf region.
• Strong background in inventory and warehouse systems.
Preference for candidates who worked in delivery, fulfillment, or e-commerce environments.

Skills:

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong analytical thinking for cost tracking and operational decision-making.
• Leadership capabilities in managing cross-functional field teams.
• Proficiency with Excel, Google Workspace, ERP, or WMS tools.
• Effective communication skills with internal departments and external stakeholders.
