Key Responsibilities:
- Source and identify reliable local suppliers and car showrooms for purchasing vehicles at the best price.
- Conduct professional negotiations to achieve the best deals regarding price, specifications, and after-sales services.
- Inspect vehicles (technical and commercial aspects) before purchase to ensure quality and compliance with requirements.
- Prepare purchase reports and maintain proper documentation of all procurement contracts and transactions.
- Coordinate with the finance department for payment approvals and follow-up on transactions.
- Monitor vehicle delivery schedules and ensure that cars meet agreed specifications.
- Update and maintain the supplier and pricing database regularly.
- Analyze market trends and price fluctuations in the local automotive market.
- Develop and implement cost-saving purchasing strategies without compromising quality.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with suppliers and showrooms.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in local automotive purchasing (cars only).
- Strong knowledge of car makes, models, trims, common issues, and current market pricing in Saudi Arabia.
- Proven negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Ability to assess vehicle condition technically and commercially (inspection & paperwork review).
- Excellent reporting, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and basic procurement systems.
- Valid driver’s license; personal vehicle preferred.
- Arabic proficiency required; English communication a plus. (Adjust if different.)
