### **Job Title:** Engine Mechanic **Location:** \Dammam **Job Type:** Full-Time **Experience Level:** Experienced --- ### **Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented **Engine Mechanic** to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain engines in vehicles, machinery, or equipment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with internal combustion engines, strong troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety and quality work. --- ### **Key Responsibilities:** * Inspect and diagnose engine problems using diagnostic tools and manual checks * Repair or replace defective engine components such as pistons, valves, bearings, belts, and gaskets * Perform regular maintenance like oil changes, filter replacements, and timing adjustments * Dismantle and reassemble engines with precision * Test engines after repairs to ensure optimal performance * Maintain accurate records of services and repairs * Follow safety protocols and company standards * Communicate clearly with supervisors and clients regarding repair needs and time estimates --- ### **Requirements:** * High school diploma or equivalent (Technical diploma or certification in automotive/mechanical field preferred) * Proven experience as an engine mechanic (automotive, marine, aviation, or industrial) * Good knowledge of engine systems and mechanical tools * Ability to read technical manuals and schematics * Strong problem-solving and manual dexterity skills * Physically fit and able to lift heavy components * Basic computer skills for reporting and diagnostics
*Driver's license --- ### **Preferred Qualifications:** * Certification from a recognized body (e.g., ASE, ITI, OEM courses) * Experience with modern diagnostic software * Familiarity with both petrol and diesel engines --- ### **Working Conditions:** * Workshop or field-based work * May involve exposure to noise, heat, and oil/grease * Use of protective gear such as gloves, eyewear, and uniforms required
