About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Planning Engineer to join our project team. This role is crucial in ensuring the timely, cost-effective, and quality delivery of electro-mechanical components within complex engineering projects. You will play a vital role in planning, coordinating, and tracking project progress, while collaborating with engineering, procurement, and execution teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed electro-mechanical project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and site teams to align engineering deliverables with project timelines.
- Monitor project progress, identify delays or risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
- Prepare progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and productivity analyses.
- Interface with subcontractors and suppliers to validate timelines and performance.
- Support project controls by aligning cost tracking with planning outputs.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable engineering codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or a related field).
- 5+ years of experience in planning and scheduling electro-mechanical works for construction or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 is a must; MS Project is a plus.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems and project execution cycles.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
