Job Purpose
Manage inspections and compliance for cultural and heritage events in AlUla, ensuring regulatory adherence, promoting cultural preservation, and supporting sustainable development aligned with national laws and strategic objectives.
Key Accountabilities
Functional Responsibilities
- Plan and implement awareness campaigns and initiatives to enhance public and stakeholder understanding of cultural compliance.
- Monitor cultural activities and lead on-site inspections to ensure adherence to relevant regulations and standards.
- Serve as the primary contact for cultural compliance enforcement and coordinate with legal and regulatory bodies when necessary.
- Enforce corrective actions for non-compliance, including issuing warnings, imposing penalties, or suspending activities in accordance with applicable laws.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and maintain accurate documentation of inspection findings and compliance status.
- Implement performance tracking and data management systems to ensure compliance data is effectively archived and monitored.
- Analyze inspection data and trends to recommend improvements in compliance and enforcement strategies.
- Stay informed on national cultural compliance regulations and serve as an internal expert providing consultation when required.
Managerial Responsibilities
- Provide input into the sector’s strategy from the department’s or section’s perspective, in alignment with RCU’s overall vision and mission.
- Develop the department’s or section’s objectives, KPIs, and annual operational plans, ensuring execution aligns with targets.
- Contribute to the preparation of the department’s or section’s annual budget and monitor financial performance.
- Implement and execute department or section policies and procedures.
- Oversee the overall performance of the section, ensuring KPIs are well-developed, cascaded, communicated, and monitored.
- Ensure effective staffing, professional development, and deployment of department or section staff in consultation with the Sector Executive or Executive Director.
Job Requirements
Academic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Business Administration, Public Administration, Or a related field. (Master’s Degree preferred)
Work Experience 6 years of relevant experience with 2 years in a managerial role.
