Job Purpose
Manage the development and advocacy for procurement preference policies that prioritize AlUla MSMEs, enhancing their competitiveness. Furthermore, establish and maintain strategic relationships with financial institutions to improve access to financing for MSMEs.

Functional Responsibilities

Develop and advocate for procurement preference policies that prioritize AlUla MSMEs enhancing their competitive edge.

Build and maintain relationships with financial institutions to enhance the access to finance for MSMEs.

Manage the implantation and design of programs and initiatives that support MSMEs in overcoming financial and market entry barriers.

Collaborate with government bodies and private sector stakeholders to align financial access support with broader economic goals.

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of market entry and financial access initiatives, making data-driven adjustments as needed.

Monitor the analyses of regional and global market trends to identify viable opportunities for AlUla’s MSMEs.

Manage local events and facilitate MSME participation in national events to showcase AlUla MSMEs, fostering networking, visibility, and access to larger markets.

Managerial Responsibilities

Provide input to the sector’s strategy from the Department's or Section's perspective in line with RCU overall vision and mission.

Develop the Department's or Section's objectives, KPIs, annual operational plans and ensure plan execution is meeting the targets

Contribute to the preparation of the Department's or Section's annual budget and monitor the financial performance of the Department or Section.

Implement and execute the Department's or Section's policies and procedures. Oversee the overall performance of the section and ensure KPI’s are well developed, cascaded, communicated and monitored.
5
Ensure effective staffing, professional development and deployment of staff of the Department or Section in consultation with the Sector Executive or (Executive) Director.
