Objective:
The Manager – CSR & Sustainability will be responsible for executing CSR programs and supporting sustainability initiatives aligned with the organization's priorities. The role involves hands-on program management, data tracking, compliance support, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth implementation of initiatives that create social and environmental value.
Key Responsibility:
Program Implementation
- Manage on-ground execution of CSR projects in areas such as education, health, environment, and community development.
- Coordinate with partner NGOs and vendors for project delivery and documentation.
- Track project milestones, budgets, and ensure timely reporting of outcomes.
Sustainability Operations
- Support sustainability initiatives like energy and waste audits, green office practices, and awareness campaigns.
- Collect and analyze data for environmental KPIs and ESG reporting.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Maintain communication with implementation partners, vendors, and relevant government bodies.
- Support internal stakeholder alignment and facilitate employee volunteer programs.
Compliance & Reporting Support
- Ensure documentation and reporting aligned with Companies Act CSR guidelines.
- Assist in impact assessments, monitoring frameworks, and audit documentation.
Communication
- Compile updates, case studies, and success stories for internal communication and sustainability reports.
- Assist in organizing CSR events, drives, and awareness campaigns.
Desired Experience:
The ideal Manager – CSR & Sustainability in a retail company should have 5-7 years of progressive experience in CSR/Sustainability. Proven success in driving high level cross functional collaboration, enhancing customer engagement, and achieving & exceeding sales KPI targets for stores.
