Position Overview
Mayar Gulf Engineering Consultants is seeking a highly skilled Cost Estimation Sales Engineer to join our Sales and Marketing Department. The successful candidate will play a critical role in preparing accurate cost estimates, project proposals, and financial models to support business development in real estate development projects and engineering contracting. This role requires strong analytical skills, engineering knowledge, and the ability to communicate fluently in both English and Arabic.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for real estate development and construction/contracting projects, including material, labor, and overhead breakdowns.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and resource plans aligned with client and company objectives.
- Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing team to prepare technical and commercial proposals for tenders, RFPs, and client submissions.
- Conduct feasibility studies and financial analysis to support project decision-making and investment proposals.
- Track project budgets and provide variance reports, highlighting risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with engineering, design, and procurement teams to ensure cost accuracy and project deliverables.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and proposals for clients in both English and Arabic.
- Support the Sales & Marketing department in client negotiations by providing technical and financial insights.
- Stay updated on market trends, material prices, and construction methods to ensure competitive and accurate estimations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related field).
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in cost estimation, project planning, or related roles in real estate development or contracting industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, market pricing, and project management tools.
- Proven experience in preparing proposals, BOQs, and tender documents.
- Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, or similar project planning tools.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both English and Arabic.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a sales-driven and client-focused environment.
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience with consultancy firms or engineering contractors in Saudi Arabia.
- Understanding of government regulations and municipal approval processes related to construction and real estate.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ﷼4,000.00 - ﷼6,500.00 per month
