Calibration Technician

Performs calibration activities on-site and off-site. Duties will further include, but not limited to, QC checks, report drafting, samples collection and logging, equipment testing, verification and troubleshooting in compliance with ISO requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Calibration: Conduct calibration of instruments and equipment according to established procedures and standards.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on calibration equipment.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of calibration activities, including certificates and reports.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with calibration equipment and instruments.
• Compliance: Ensure all calibration activities comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Inventory Management: Manage calibration equipment inventory and ensure availability of necessary tools and parts.
• Training: Provide training and support to other technicians and staff on calibration procedures and best practices.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance calibration processes and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in calibration or a related field.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in using calibration equipment and tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
