Job Summary:
Performs calibration activities on-site and off-site. Duties will further include, but not limited to, QC checks, report drafting, samples collection and logging, equipment testing, verification and troubleshooting in compliance with ISO requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Calibration: Conduct calibration of instruments and equipment according to established procedures and standards.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on calibration equipment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of calibration activities, including certificates and reports.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with calibration equipment and instruments.
- Compliance: Ensure all calibration activities comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Inventory Management: Manage calibration equipment inventory and ensure availability of necessary tools and parts.
- Training: Provide training and support to other technicians and staff on calibration procedures and best practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance calibration processes and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Education: Diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in calibration or a related field.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in using calibration equipment and tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
