Job Summary:
Leading the establishment of the SPARK facility for Isolation Valves in Saudi Arabia, including plant layout design, manufacturing setup, resource planning, tooling and fixtures, development of standard operating procedures, and inventory management.
Ensuring strict implementation and adherence to safety guidelines across all operations.
Serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Isolation Valves, providing technical support and training to customers and cross-functional teams, addressing customer care issues, and delivering effective technical solutions and recommendations.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Operations:
Strategic Planning and Implementation
- Define and implement the SPARK manufacturing strategy for Isolation Valves.
- Ensure Key Performance Indicators (critical metrics) are established in alignment with organizational objectives.
- Participate in the S&OP process to align plant capabilities with demand forecasts.
- Provide management with sales forecasts (POR), capacity utilization, service level, and inventory reports.
- Operational Excellence
- Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity and reduce waste.
- Oversee asset management including monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of plant equipment to ensure reliability and improve uptime.
- Quality and Compliance
- Collaborate with the Quality Manager to develop and maintain an effective quality program.
- Ensure audit readiness, support audits, and drive corrective actions based on NCRs.
- Ensure compliance with API Q1, ISO 9001, and customer-specific QMS requirements.
- Coordinate with Quality and Supply Chain teams to ensure critical supplier compliance.
- Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)
- Ensure HSE protocols are strictly followed across the plant.
- Ensure safety standards are clearly documented, communicated, understood, and implemented in all operational areas.

- People Management and Development
- Lead recruitment, training, and development initiatives to build a skilled, engaged, and high-performing operations team.
- Drive competency development to equip team members with the vital skills and knowledge for current and future needs.
Subject Matter Expert (SME) :
- Serve as the primary technical contact for customer complaints and field issues related to isolation valves and actuators & lead the team to resolve the same.
- Lead root cause analyses (RCA) for valve failures or performance complaints, documenting findings in detailed reports.
- Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Field Service teams to identify and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Support service teams with technical guidance during on-site troubleshooting and inspections.
- Communicate directly with customers to understand issues, lead expectations, and present resolutions clearly and professionally.
- Review and analyze warranty claims data to identify recurring issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide feedback to product design and manufacturing teams to improve valve reliability and performance.
- Lead the team to maintain and update technical documentation, complaint logs, and resolution tracking.
- Support customer training efforts by sharing standard processes for valve selection, installation, operation, and maintenance.
- Support sales team on their KOB3 demand generation initiatives through site walk downs, competition displacement and retrofit / replacement pursuits.

- 20 + years in the Valve & Automation Industry mainly in Operations and After sales support
