Our Markets & Partnerships (M&P) teams manage new sales and business development activities across Control Risks’ key accounts and growth initiatives in our key markets.
This role will be responsible for winning new business and managing existing client accounts for strategic growth across the complete Control Risks offering. It will drive excellence in business development and bring discipline and structure to prospecting activity in a market where Control Risks is looking to rapidly scale.
- Develop a clear and compelling growth strategy for the portfolio of clients in the region. This should include prospect / new business identification and prioritization, competitor displacement, value propositions, and sales tactics across the Kingdom.
- Actively manage and grow your own pipeline of new business from lead qualification through to closing deals. Engage clients by actively promoting the use of existing services and communicating new enhancements and products.
- Deepen relationships with major regional clients based in the region and develop strong consultative relationships with clients, building trust and awareness in Control Risks capabilities.
- Become a trusted advisor to your clients, demonstrating a high level of partnership and commitment to client success.
- Develop a deep understanding of client requirements, alongside Control Risks service offering, ensuring you are able to match clients’ needs to relevant solutions.
- Promote, build and develop Control Risks’ brand with your portfolio of clients, through regular client interactions, either in person or at wider events.
- Participate in various marketing projects (e.g., organising seminars, writing insights) for companies interested in MENA.
- Travel from Riyadh to other cities and projects for client meetings and business development.
- Lead the “Managed Account Programme” across KSA for all account managers.
- Inspire and motivate those outside the M&P function with sales leadership and commercial confidence, including coaching and mentoring of key seller-servicers for their development. Drive Control Risks ‘One Firm’ approach.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Control Risks in the KSA market by being present within business leaders’ groups, attending regular networking events, and external conferences.
- Act as a CRM and LinkedIn super user and advocate to demonstrate leadership with our sales data to develop prospects.
Requirements
Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum six years client-facing experience in professional services.
- Demonstrable experience of having developed key, high-value client relationships and accounts. Excellent track record in personal sales origination and account growth.
- Proven ability of devising and implementing successful strategies to drive business growth.
- Experience working with different products and services across different industry sectors.
- The ability to think and act across multiple product and service offerings to maximise business potential with clients and to work in a fast-paced, challenging and matrix business environment.
- Experience of working within an international environment.
Qualifications and specialist skills
- Degree or equivalent in relevant subject.
- Excellent English written and verbal communications and negotiation skills
- Computer literate and competent in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
