Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions about dishes and beverages.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely and courteous manner, ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or special requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, dining areas, and service stations.
- Handle billing and payments efficiently and accurately.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper hygiene standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in fine dining or high-end restaurant service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of fine dining service standards and etiquette.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
- Ability to handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage pairing is a plus.
