The VP of Commercial will be a strategic executive leader responsible for defining and executing the company’s overall commercial strategy. This role focuses on market expansion, partnerships, business development, and cross-functional alignment to drive sustainable long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement commercial strategy aligned with the company’s vision and business goals.
- Drive global market expansion, including market entry strategies and ecosystem development.
- Partner with executive leadership to set revenue goals, assess risks, and shape growth initiatives.
- Build and manage relationships with key partners, customers, and stakeholders.
- Negotiate and oversee strategic partnerships, alliances, and contracts.
- Act as a spokesperson for the company to enhance brand positioning and credibility.
- Collaborate with marketing to align campaigns with commercial strategy.
- Partner with product/tech to translate market insights into product direction.
- Work with operations to ensure seamless service delivery and customer experience.
- Lead the business development and partnerships teams.
- Foster a results-oriented, entrepreneurial culture with strong accountability.
- Build and nurture high-potential talent for future leadership roles.
Requirements
- Experience in a senior commercial or business leadership role (e.g., VP Commercial, VP Business Development).
- Strong background in go-to-market strategies, partnerships, and international market expansion.
- Expertise in building ecosystems and cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
