Job Brief:
Are you a skilled Testing Engineer with hands-on experience in testing and validating complex electrical and mechanical systems in industrial environments? CRTS Global is looking for a highly motivated engineer to join its team working on cutting-edge robotic and pipeline integrity solutions. You will play a critical role in ensuring the performance, safety, and reliability of robotic systems used in harsh field conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional, performance, and safety testing of robotic systems and subsystems.
- Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and protocols for electrical and mechanical
- components.
- Support the design and integration teams by providing feedback from testing activities.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electro-mechanical issues in our robotic systems.
- Document test results, anomalies, and corrective actions in a clear and organized manner.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Quality teams to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and industry regulations for testing and safety.
- Assist in the designing, setup and maintenance of test rigs/setups, automated data acquisition
- systems for various electronics and mechanical systems.
- Participate in field trials and testing of systems when required.
- Continuously improve testing methodologies and contribute to product quality enhancements.
Required Qualification / Experience / Skills:
- Bachelors in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Min 3–5 years of hands-on testing experience in electro-mechanical or industrial systems.
- Strong understanding of testing protocols for electrical and mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in using testing tools such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, mustimeters, and DAQ systems.
- Familiarity with wiring diagrams, circuit testing, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Ability to troubleshoot system-level issues independently.
- Good understanding of industrial safety standards and IPC testing practices.
- Language: Proficient in English (spoken and written).
- Mindset: Analytical, detail-oriented, and team-focused with strong documentation skills.
