Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Engineer to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. - Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and local building codes
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and implement effective solutions
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to maintain high standards of workmanship
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and technical drawings
- Oversee and coordinate the work of subcontractors and construction teams to ensure efficient project execution
- Analyze and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment
- Monitor project schedules and budgets, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies
- Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates to senior management
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in construction engineering
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in site engineering or construction management
- Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Primavera, and MS Project
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick, informed decisions
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with project management and scheduling techniques
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Saudi Arabia (preferred)
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to various project sites as needed
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
