Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Planner to join our team! In this role you will develop, monitor, and control integrated project schedules for the ICT infrastructure delivery workstreams at Qiddiya. This includes coordinating with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure realistic planning, critical path alignment, and timely reporting across all ICT-related civil, MEP, and system implementation scopes.
What You'll Be Doing:
1. Schedule Development and Integration
Develop and maintain detailed Level 3 and 4 schedules for ICT works, covering:
- Passive infrastructure (duct banks, manholes, FOC routes)
- Active systems (data centers, telecom shelters, smart devices)
- Enabling works and integration with other disciplines (power, roads, public realm)
- Integrate contractor programs into the master schedule using Primavera P6.
- Validate contractor baseline schedules and recovery plans for feasibility.
- Support Change Request evaluation and schedule extension justifications.
2. Monitoring, Progress Tracking & Forecasting
- Monitor actual progress against baseline plans, track variances, and propose mitigation.
- Analyze schedule risks and prepare “what-if” scenarios for decision-making.
- Work closely with field engineers and construction leads to ensure timely update of activities, milestones, and deliverables.
3. Coordination & Interface Management
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (civil, MEP, IT, and security) to align dependencies.
- Manage interfaces between ICT works and other mega-projects components (e.g., Smart City Command Center, BMS, Utilities).
- Ensure alignment of program logic with project constraints, site readiness, and procurement lead times.
4. Reporting & Dashboards
- Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and critical path analyses.
- Support KPI generation (Earned Value, SPI, CPI, % Complete) for ICT packages.
- Develop visual dashboards and S-curves for executive management presentations.
5. Delay Analysis & Claims Support
- Perform Time Impact Analysis (TIA) and forensic delay reviews in coordination with claims teams. Document schedule delays, disruption causes, and entitlement narratives.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Controls.
- 10+ years of relevant planning/scheduling experience, preferably in large-scale infrastructure or ICT projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory), MS Project, Excel, and Power BI.
- Familiarity with AACEi best practices, PPP contracts, and mega-project reporting structures. Experience in KSA Giga Projects or government-led infrastructure programs is highly desirable.
