We are currently seeking a Senior Manager - Procurement to join our dynamic team and play a critical role in shaping our procurement strategy across various projects.
In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing all procurement activities, ensuring that projects are supported with the best sourcing strategies that align with our overall objectives. You will lead a team of procurement professionals and collaborate with multiple departments to ensure that procurement processes are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive procurement strategies that align with organizational goals and project requirements.
- Oversee the procurement process from planning through execution, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
- Lead contract negotiations, ensuring optimal terms while managing risk effectively.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to forecast procurement needs and establish priorities.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to procurement team members, promoting professional development.
- Develop procurement performance metrics and provide insights to senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of procurement experience with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex procurement projects and drive strategic initiatives.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in data analysis.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience in managing supplier relationships and driving performance improvements.
- Familiarity with procurement software and tools, as well as procurement regulations and compliance.
