We are currently seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer to join our team for a major infrastructure project in Riyadh. The QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for monitoring and managing all quality-related aspects of the project, ensuring that all design and construction activities are compliant with client specifications, project requirements, and international standards. The ideal candidate must have solid experience in quality assurance and quality control within large-scale infrastructure projects in the Middle East, especially in a Program Management Office (PMO) environment.
- Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC procedures and documentation as per project and client requirements.
- Review and evaluate contractor and consultant quality plans, method statements, and inspection test plans.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and surveillance to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
- Track non-conformances and ensure appropriate corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
- Support technical teams in resolving quality issues and providing quality-related guidance.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
- Lead internal and external audits and maintain audit records.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and PMO for design and construction quality assurance.
- Prepare and present quality reports and metrics to the client and senior management.
- Verify project close-out documentation and quality records for final handover.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in QA/QC roles on major infrastructure projects in the Middle East.
- Prior experience working within a PMO environment is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of international codes and quality standards, including ISO 9001.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Certified ISO Lead Auditor or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain detailed quality records.
