Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Controls Manager to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our project management organization, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing project controls across multiple complex projects, ensuring successful delivery within budget and schedule constraints.
- Lead and manage the project controls team, providing guidance and mentorship to team members
- Develop and implement robust project control systems and processes to monitor project performance, costs, and schedules
- Analyze financial data, identify key project issues, and provide actionable insights to project stakeholders
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of project baselines, including budgets, schedules, and resource allocations
- Conduct regular project performance reviews and prepare comprehensive reports for senior management
- Implement and manage earned value management systems to track project progress and forecast outcomes
- Develop and maintain risk management strategies to mitigate potential project impacts
- Collaborate with project managers, finance teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and objectives
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project control methodologies and tools
- Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and industry standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in project controls, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Proven expertise in financial management, cost control, and scheduling for large-scale projects
- Advanced knowledge of earned value management principles and practices
- Strong proficiency in project management and financial analysis software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams in a fast-paced environment
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
- Experience in risk management and mitigation strategies
- Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and best practices in project controls
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
- Willingness to travel as required for project site visits and stakeholder meetings
