Key Responsibilities
Lead the site project control team covering planning, scheduling, cost control, and reporting functions.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and progress measurement systems.
Monitor project performance against baseline plans and highlight variances in cost, schedule, and resources.
Prepare accurate and timely progress reports, forecasts, and dashboards for management and client review.
Ensure proper implementation of change management processes, including scope, cost, and schedule variations.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to validate progress and performance data.
Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
Identify risks and support the project manager in developing mitigation strategies.
Lead cost forecasting, cash flow analysis, and budget control activities.
Ensure project control processes and systems are aligned with corporate procedures and best practices.
Provide guidance and mentorship to project control team members on-site.
Qualifications & Requirements
Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
Experience in project controls, on major construction projects (oil & gas, industrial, or infrastructure preferred).
Strong knowledge of planning tools (Primavera P6, MS Project) and cost control systems.
Proven experience in earned value management (EVM), forecasting, and variance analysis.
Solid understanding of project management principles, construction processes, and contract administration.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
