Job Description
- Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives to consistently meet or exceed established goals.
Develop pre-call plans using SMART objectives and execute thorough post-call evaluations to enhance sales performance continually.
Handle objections, concerns, and misunderstandings effectively, securing logical and reasonable calls to action to close each sales interaction successfully.
Build and maintain trusted customer relationships by understanding and proactively addressing customer needs, expectations, and challenges, fostering win-win agreements between AbbVie and healthcare providers.
Create and implement a call plan that meets set metrics, optimizing customer coverage and engagement frequency to maximize sales opportunities.
Continuously analyze and interpret customer needs, market dynamics, competitor activities, and disease/product knowledge to provide actionable insights and align field strategies with broader brand goals.
Share market intelligence with in-field teams, brand teams, and sales managers to anticipate environmental changes and optimize brand strategy and execution.
Position AbbVie’s value proposition effectively with healthcare providers, identifying and developing disease state experts, speakers, and advocates to enhance brand performance.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales or commercial role within the oncology/hematology or Rare Disease space. This includes direct experience with key opinion leaders (KOLs), hospitals, and oncology clinics in Governmental sector & MOH.
- Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences, pharmacy, business, or a related field, or equivalent.
- Medical & Scientific Acumen: A solid understanding of the science behind oncology and hematology, including disease states, treatment modalities (e.g., chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapies), and AbbVie's relevant product portfolio. The ability to articulate complex clinical data and value propositions to healthcare professionals is crucial
- •Business Acumen: Proven ability to develop and execute strategic business plans for a defined territory. This includes market analysis, customer segmentation, and resource allocation to achieve sales targets. Experience with medical business aspirations, such as identifying new business opportunities and navigating a changing healthcare landscape, is highly valued.
- Customer Relationship Management: Strong skills in building and maintaining relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including oncologists, hematologists, pharmacists, and hospital administrators. The ability to act as a trusted partner and provide value beyond just the product is essential.
- Sales Performance: A history of meeting or exceeding sales goals and a clear understanding of sales metrics and performance indicators.
- Communication & Presentation Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver compelling and persuasive presentations to individuals and groups
