Education Qualification:-
Diploma/ITI/Certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Hydraulic Systems.
Valid driving license heavy equipment license is a plus.
Experience:-
1–2 years of experience in vehicle or machinery inspection, service, or related field.
Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
Job Description:-
Pre-Delivery Inspections:
- Perform thorough inspections on heavy machinery e.g., excavators, loaders, cranes to ensure all systems and components are functioning properly.
- Check for any visible damage, wear, or defects in the machinery.
- Test key operational systems, including hydraulics, electronics, and engine performance.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Complete PDI checklists and inspection reports accurately, documenting any issues found and actions taken.
- Ensure that all PDI records are maintained and logged into the system.
- Collaborate with service and logistics teams to communicate findings, repair needs, or delays in delivery.
Coordination with Logistics:
- Work closely with the logistics team to ensure machinery is prepared for timely delivery.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of heavy machinery when required, ensuring that all equipment is handled safely.
- Coordinate with the warehouse or yard team to manage machinery flow and availability.
Minor Repairs and Maintenance:
- Conduct minor repairs such as fixing loose parts, changing filters, or topping off fluids oil, hydraulic fluids, etc..
- Notify the service department of any significant repair needs that fall outside of PDI responsibilities.
Customer Customization:
- Assist with implementing any special configurations or installations required by the customer before delivery.
- Ensure customer-specific modifications or requests are met without compromising equipment integrity or safety.
Work closely with internal departments, including Marketing, Operations, Parts, Service, HR, Finance, Warehouse, and Logistics, to ensure seamless coordination.
Carry out additional tasks as requested by management.
