Job Purpose
The Major Maintenance Planning Leader is responsible for the strategic planning, scheduling, and coordination of all major maintenance activities, including turnarounds, shutdowns, and large-scale overhauls, to ensure optimal asset performance, reliability, and extended asset life. This role involves developing detailed maintenance plans, optimizing resource allocation, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance planning within a heavy industrial environment, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in planning and executing major turnarounds, shutdowns, or large capital maintenance projects.
Minimum Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or reliability engineering.
