Responsibilities:
The Lead Civil Engineer will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all civil and infrastructure works, ensuring design excellence, compliance with regulatory standards, and successful integration of civil works with architectural and structural elements across the project.
We envisage success in this role to include;
- Leading and managing the civil engineering scope across the entire project lifecycle — from concept design through detailed design, construction, and handover.
- Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams (architectural, MEP, structural, landscape, etc.) to ensure seamless integration of civil works with other systems.
- Reviewing and approve civil design documents including site grading, earthworks, drainage, utilities, roads, retaining structures, and underground services.
- Ensuring compliance with Saudi codes, local regulations, and international engineering standards.
- Conducting technical reviews, value engineering, constructability assessments, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Providing leadership during construction phases, working closely with contractors to resolve site issues, RFIs, and technical queries.
- Managing civil engineering consultants and subconsultants, ensuring quality, timeliness, and alignment with project objectives.
- Supporting procurement processes by providing input on civil engineering scope, specifications, and tender evaluations.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for all civil engineering matters, internally and externally.
- Maintaining a strong focus on safety, sustainability, and long-term performance of civil and infrastructure systems.
