Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Equipment Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various kitchen appliances and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and have experience in customer service, ensuring that our clients receive top-notch support and solutions for their kitchen equipment needs.
Duties
- Diagnose and repair kitchen equipment
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to assemble and disassemble kitchen equipment as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance schedules.
- Drive a box truck to deliver equipment and perform on-site repairs as required.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs completed, and parts used.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Experience
- Proven experience in appliance repair or as a service technician in a related field.
- Familiarity with refrigeration systems and HVAC principles is highly desirable.
- Previous field service experience is preferred, including the ability to work independently in various environments.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in equipment repair and assembly.
- Excellent customer service skills to effectively interact with clients and address their concerns.
- Electrical experience is a plus, particularly in troubleshooting electrical components of kitchen equipment.
