We are seeking for a Facility Manager with electrical engineering background for one of our clients based in Riyadh, KSA. A Facilities Manager in the FM industry with an electrical engineering background is responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and safety of building systems, with a strong focus on electrical infrastructure. Key duties include managing preventive and corrective maintenance of power distribution, lighting, UPS, and backup systems; ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards; coordinating vendors and contractors; and optimizing energy efficiency. The role also involves budgeting, asset tracking, technical troubleshooting, and leading in-house maintenance teams. Strong reporting, risk management, and emergency response capabilities are essential to ensure smooth, cost-effective, and compliant facility operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required) • Additional certifications in Facility Management (e.g., IFMA, CFM, FMP) are highly preferred • Certifications in health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) and energy management (e.g., LEED, CEM) are an advantage • Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience, including supervisory roles in facility operations and maintenance • Proven experience managing electrical systems in large commercial, industrial, or institutional facilities • Proficiency in CMMS, CAFM systems, MS Office, and energy monitoring software
