Review and validate the design of electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, SCADA, and grounding for bridges and road networks.
Provide technical support during the design and construction phases, ensuring compliance with local regulations and international standards.
Evaluate and comment on design submissions, shop drawings, technical specifications, and material approvals from contractors or subconsultants.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, structural, mechanical, and telecom engineers to ensure full integration of electrical systems.
Participate in client meetings, design review workshops, and progress reporting.
Ensure that safety, redundancy, and energy efficiency are integrated into electrical system designs.
Contribute to the development and enforcement of project-specific Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures for electrical works.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
Previous experience with engineering consultancy firms is essential.
Familiarity with systems used in infrastructure projects: roadway lighting, traffic signal control, backup power systems, and low-voltage installations.
Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Dialux, and ETAP (or similar).
Excellent coordination, documentation, and communication skills.
