Requirements
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field.
- Relevant teaching qualifications (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- 3+ years of experience teaching English, particularly in an American curriculum setting.
- Expertise in instructional strategies that engage students in a diverse learning environment.
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to create an inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Understanding of child protection and safeguarding practices.
- Additional qualifications or participation in professional development programs are an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans that align with the American curriculum for English Language Arts.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and mentorship to support their academic growth.
- Encourage critical thinking, collaboration, and communication skills through innovative teaching methods.
