About the location:
Soon to be one of the region’s foremost luxury beachside destinations, The Red Sea will comprise of the idyllic natural islands and lagoons across 200 kms of coastline along the western coast of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, between the cities of Umluj and Al Wajh. The new Four Seasons Resort will be located on Shura Island, the hub of the development and home to a yacht marina, leisure and lifestyle facilities, retail offerings, 18-hole golf course and more. The Red Sea destination is being built with sustainable practices and tourism at its core, with the masterplan being informed by an impressive marine spatial planning simulation to model the environmental impact of development and operations to minimize over-tourism while providing guests with an exceptional travel and lifestyle experience. The destination will also rely on renewable energy and will only develop a small portion of the islands with expansive dedicated conservation zones. The new Four Seasons Resort will offer approximately 149 rooms and suites, all with uninterrupted views over white sand beaches and crystal-clear waters. The property will also feature six restaurant and lounge outlets, meeting and events spaces, a marine discovery centre, Kids for All Seasons space and much more. As a Discovery Centre – Supervisor at Four Seasons Resort Red Sea, you lead the resort’s innovative children’s programming with a focus on sustainability, nature, and cultural exploration. Based in the Discovery Centre, your role is to inspire, guide, and engage young guests through hands-on experiences that combine fun, learning, and adventure.
You are responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the Discovery Centre’s KFAS operations, overseeing a team of attendants and ensuring every interaction reflects Four Seasons’ exceptional service and safety standards. Your creativity, leadership, and genuine care for children will bring the resort’s educational and environmental mission to life.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Leadership & Delivery:
Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the Discovery Centre’s Kids For All Seasons program.
Lead the design and facilitation of creative, age-appropriate, and educational activities focused on marine life, sustainability, cultural heritage, and the natural surroundings of the Red Sea.
Ensure all activities are engaging, safe, and aligned with the values of Four Seasons and the Discovery Centre’s environmental initiatives.
Adapt programming based on attendance, guest feedback, or operational needs while maintaining quality.
Team Supervision & Development:
Support, guide, and motivate KFAS Attendants to deliver consistent and enriching experiences.
Conduct team briefings, assist with training, and ensure staff are knowledgeable about health, safety, and program content.
Promote a positive, collaborative, and professional work environment.
Safety & Operations:
Monitor the health, safety, and well-being of all participating children.
Ensure the Discovery Centre and activity spaces are clean, organized, and fully stocked.
Maintain accurate child registration records, safety checklists, and incident logs.
Guest Service & Communication:
Welcome families with warmth, clearly communicating program offerings and safety protocols.
Act as the main point of contact for parents/guardians regarding children's participation and feedback.
Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Recreation, Sustainability, F&B) to enhance cross-functional guest experiences.
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in childcare, hospitality, education, or recreation.
Strong understanding of child development, activity planning, and safety practices.
Passion for environmental education, marine life, or local culture is a significant asset.
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Fluent in English; Arabic and other languages are a plus.
CPR and First Aid certification required (or willingness to obtain).
Comfortable working outdoors, with flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
