We are seeking an experienced and visionary Dean to provide strategic academic leadership, oversee faculty and student success, and ensure the highest standards of teaching, research, and community engagement. The Dean will play a key role in shaping the institution’s academic direction, fostering innovation, and strengthening partnerships with industry and academic communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide academic leadership and strategic direction for the faculty/college.
- Oversee curriculum development, academic programs, and research initiatives.
- Manage faculty recruitment, mentoring, evaluation, and professional development.
- Promote a culture of academic excellence, inclusivity, and student success.
- Develop and implement policies to support innovation in teaching and research.
- Strengthen partnerships with industry, community organizations, and academic institutions.
- Oversee budget planning, resource allocation, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and educational regulations.
- Represent the institution at academic and professional forums.
- Drive fundraising, grant acquisition, and alumni engagement initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
- PhD or equivalent terminal degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 10–15 years of progressive academic experience, including leadership roles.
- Strong record of teaching, research, and scholarly contributions.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, resources, and teams effectively.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders.
