Job Purpose
Overseeing and coordinating maintenance activities for wet processing systems in industrial settings, such as mining, manufacturing, or Beneficiation wet plant. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient operation, reliability, and safety of wet processing equipment and systems.
Key AccountabilitiesDevelop and implement maintenance schedules and plans for wet processing equipment to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance personnel, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
Identify and diagnose issues with wet processing systems, coordinating repairs and ensuring that equipment is restored to optimal working condition.
Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards, promoting a culture of safety within the team.Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend changes to enhance the efficiency and reliability of wet processing systems.
Work closely with other departments, such as operations and engineering, to ensure integrated maintenance strategies and support overall production goals.
Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Competencies
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial technology, or a related field is often preferred or technical diploma in a relevant discipline may be acceptable with additional experience.
Minimum Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in maintenance coordination or management, particularly in wet processing systems or similar industrial environments.
