We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to expand our market presence, build lasting client relationships, and drive revenue growth within the geotechnical sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in geotechnical engineering, site investigation, and related services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, government bodies, and private developers.
- Collaborate with the technical and operations teams to prepare proposals, bids, and tailored client solutions.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities for business expansion.
- Manage the full sales cycle – from lead generation through to contract negotiation and closing.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
- Provide regular reporting on sales performance, pipeline activity, and market insights to senior management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven track record in business development, sales, or client relationship management within the construction, engineering, or geotechnical sector.
- Strong understanding of geotechnical services (e.g., ground investigation, laboratory testing, foundation engineering, ground improvement).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Established network within the construction/engineering industry is a strong advantage.
