The Business Development Manager will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and success of the CWW global database pricing tool. Facilitation and completion of global air and ocean RFQ’s, RFI’s, and RFP’s for all regions. Development, maintenance, and accuracy of the global marketing database including the CWW Sales and Marketing information available on SharePoint.
Essential Job Functions:
- Manage, update, and maintain the global pricing database.
- Facilitate the completion of Global Air and Ocean RFQ’s.
- Manage, update, and maintain the Global Marketing database.
- Support all Global Sales Team members with pricing inquiries.
- Provide marketing and proposal support for all Global Sales Team members.
- Manage, update, and maintain the Corporate Sales and Marketing SharePoint site.
- Facilitate and support the corporate branding initiatives globally.
- Other duties as assigned.
Other Skills/Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word
- Other software skills as needed such as Visio, Access, Outlook etc.
Education and Experience:
- 5- 7 years of RFQ Management required.
- 3-5 years of Pricing Database Management required.
- Minimum 5 years of Global Airfreight and Ocean Freight Pricing experience required.
- Oil, Gas, Energy logistics proposal experience preferred.
- 3-5 years statistical analysis experience.
Certifications and Licenses:
- Professional certification may be required in some areas.
