The Customs Clearance Associate plays a crucial role in managing all import and export activities at Six Flags Qiddiya City. This position ensures that all goods and materials are cleared through customs efficiently and in compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit customs documentation for all incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Work closely with customs officials to obtain necessary permits and clearances.
- Monitor and track shipments throughout the customs clearance process to ensure timely release.
- Liaise with logistics providers and suppliers to ensure compliance with import/export regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all customs transactions and correspondence.
- Stay updated on changes to customs laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Assist in resolving any customs-related issues that arise during the clearance process.
- Provide guidance to team members on customs policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with Finance for the processing of duties and taxes related to shipments.
- Participate in audits and inspections related to customs operations.
- Train staff on customs clearance processes and documentation requirements.
Requirements
BS Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
0–3 years of experience in customs clearance or regulatory compliance.
Knowledge of customs regulations and international trade laws.
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and customs software.
Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
Fluent in English and Arabic.
