We are looking for a skilled Solution Architect to design and deliver advanced technology solutions that enable smart city initiatives. You will lead the creation of integrated systems that leverage IoT, data analytics, cloud platforms, and digital services to enhance urban infrastructure and citizen experiences. This role requires deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements
- Design comprehensive solution architectures for smart city projects, integrating IoT devices, data platforms, communication networks, and application services.
- Collaborate with city officials, urban planners, technology vendors, and internal teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, and interoperable solutions.
- Define technical standards, architectural principles, and best practices to ensure system reliability, data privacy, and future-proof scalability.
- Develop solution blueprints, technology roadmaps, and integration strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative approaches to solve urban challenges related to transportation, energy, safety, environment, and citizen services.
- Lead technical reviews, proof of concepts, and pilot deployments to validate architectural decisions.
- Support project teams during solution implementation by providing architectural guidance, troubleshooting, and ensuring adherence to design specifications.
- Maintain documentation of architecture artifacts, system components, and interface specifications.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- Min of 9 years of experience in solution architecture or systems design, ideally with exposure to Smart City projects or IoT ecosystems.
- Strong knowledge of IoT platforms, cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), data analytics, edge computing, and networking.
- Experience designing scalable, secure, and interoperable systems.
- Familiarity with architectural frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar.
- Understanding of urban infrastructure domains including transportation, utilities, public safety, and environmental monitoring.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills
