We are seeking a proactive and strategic Senior Manager – Smart City to lead demand generation and stakeholder engagement for smart city initiatives across districts. This role focuses on identifying, shaping, and driving demand for smart city solutions by working closely with district authorities, community leaders, and internal teams to align technology offerings with local priorities and challenges.
Requirements
- Lead demand management activities for smart city projects targeting multiple urban districts, ensuring alignment with district-level strategies and citizen needs.
- Engage with district governments, public agencies, and community stakeholders to identify opportunities for smart city technologies and services.
- Develop and execute demand generation plans including workshops, pilot programs, and stakeholder communications to foster adoption of smart city solutions.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, solution architects, and delivery teams to translate demand into actionable project pipelines and successful deployments.
- Conduct market research and analysis to understand district-specific challenges, regulatory environments, and competitive landscapes.
- Manage relationships with district-level partners, ensuring ongoing collaboration and feedback loops to refine offerings.
- Track and report on demand metrics, forecast pipeline growth, and contribute to strategic planning.
- Advocate for citizen-centric and sustainable solutions tailored to the unique needs of districts.
- Mentor and guide junior team members and coordinate cross-functional efforts across districts.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in demand management, business development, or program management within Smart Cities, urban development, or technology sectors.
- Strong understanding of urban district governance, community engagement, and smart city solution landscapes.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with government bodies and diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
