We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with an Architectural Engineering background and over 7+ years of proven expertise in cost management, estimation, and contract administration. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical and financial skills to deliver cost-efficient solutions while maintaining design quality and project standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review detailed cost estimates, BOQs, tender documents, and contract agreements.
- Lead feasibility studies, value engineering, and cost control measures across all project phases.
- Evaluate architectural and engineering drawings for accuracy, scope, and cost implications.
- Manage procurement, tendering, and contractor negotiations.
- Monitor project budgets, variations, and prepare regular cost and financial reports.
- Conduct site inspections to verify progress, validate claims, and prepare interim/final valuations.
- Support dispute resolution, claims assessment, and final account settlements.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and international best practices.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to align design and cost efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in cost estimation, quantity surveying, and contract management.
- Professional accreditation (RICS, MRICS, or equivalent) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of architectural design, construction techniques, and material specifications.
- Proficiency in cost management tools (e.g., Candy, CostX, Primavera, AutoCAD, Revit).
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Experience in large-scale projects (commercial, residential, or mixed-use).
- GCC/Middle East project exposure is an advantage.
