Job Description
Faena is about to transform the Red Sea into a destination where luxury, art, and community come together in one extraordinary experience. As part of our opening team, you’ll play a pivotal role in creating a culture where individuality, collaboration, and creativity thrive. If you're passionate about people, organization, and hospitality, we want you to join us as a People & Culture Coordinator.
- Keep employee records impeccably organized, both digitally and physically, including contracts, performance data, leave records, and development milestones.
- Ensure all documentation aligns with local labor laws and brand compliance, managing sensitive data securely at all times.
- Assist in processing monthly payroll inputs (attendance, overtime, deductions, allowances), working closely with the Finance team to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate probation confirmations, transfers, promotions, disciplinary records, and exit procedures with clarity and consistency.
- Prepare official documents, including employment verifications, warnings, salary adjustments, and memos.
- Be the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and time-off procedures, responding with empathy and accuracy.
- Help plan and execute engaging employee events and celebrations like birthdays, appreciation weeks, and cultural days that reflect the soul of Faena.
- Assist in rolling out employee surveys and feedback tools, track trends, and help the P&C team take action where it matters most.
- Champion initiatives that foster well-being, inclusion, and community, ensuring that everyone feels seen, heard, and valued.
- Support the communication of updated P&C policies and procedures, ensuring that all employees are informed and aligned.
- Maintain the integrity of the HRIS and internal systems by inputting data, generating reports, and conducting spot checks to ensure smooth operation.
- Ensure all P&C documentation is audit-ready, legally compliant, and aligned with internal SOPs and regional employment standards.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in HR or People & Culture coordination, ideally within luxury hospitality.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of local labor laws is a plus.
- Empathetic, approachable, and proactive, with excellent communication skills.
- Fluent in English
