Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking an innovative and results-oriented Manager - Application Operations Excellence to join our talented team. This role is pivotal in enhancing the operational efficiency and effectiveness of our application operations. You will be responsible for driving excellence initiatives, ensuring that our application management processes align with the best practices in the industry.
In this capacity, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, implement process enhancements, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the application operations team.
Responsibilities
- Manage Application Operations: Oversee the day-to-day performance, availability, and stability of business-critical IT applications
- Incident and Problem Management: Lead response and resolution efforts for application-related incidents, ensuring root cause analysis and timely recovery
- Coordinate with Development and Infrastructure Teams: Act as a bridge between application development, infrastructure, and business units to ensure smooth operation and change management.
- Monitor Application Performance: Utilize monitoring tools to track application health, optimize performance, and proactively address issues
- Ensure Compliance and Security: Implement and enforce IT policies, data security standards, and regulatory compliance across all managed applications
- Support Upgrades and Deployments: Plan and coordinate application releases, patches, and upgrades with minimal disruption to business operations
- Ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and best practices for application operations.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation, encouraging team members to share ideas for operational improvements.
- Act as a liaison between business units and IT to ensure that application solutions align with organizational goals and deliver value.
- Identify and manage risks associated with application operations, ensuring robust mitigation strategies are in place.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in application operations or IT service management, with a focus on process improvement.
- In-depth knowledge of application performance management, ITIL practices, and operational excellence methodologies.
