The IT Administrator, shall be responsible for the following core functions:
A. Computer Networks – Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems within the organization.
B. Desktop Support – Providing direct technical support and user assistance.
C. Software Applications – Supporting software applications used within the business sector, including ERP systems and other relevant tools.
Responsibilities
The Employee shall undertake the following responsibilities during the course of employment:
Ensure that computer systems run smoothly and that users receive maximum benefit from their use.
Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
Assist staff or clients, either in person or remotely, by guiding them through a series of actions to set up systems or resolve technical issues.
Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and resolving hardware or software faults.
Support the rollout and implementation of new applications.
Set up new user accounts, profiles, and manage password-related issues.
Work continuously on assigned tasks until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate).
Test, evaluate, and recommend new technology solutions where applicable.
