About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Warehouse Manager to oversee daily operations across multiple warehouse facilities in Jubail. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth, efficient, and safe execution of all warehouse activities, with a strong emphasis on inventory accuracy, process improvement, compliance, and team leadership.
The Warehouse Manager will play a key role in managing staff, optimizing layout and workflows, maintaining high standards of safety and compliance, and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and accurate order fulfilment.
Role and Responsibilities
- Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records including stock levels and expiry dates.
- Perform physical stock audits and resolve discrepancies.
- Implement inventory rotation methods (FIFO, LIFO, etc.).
- Warehouse Operations
- Supervise receiving, inspection, and storage of incoming goods.
- Organize warehouse layout to maximize space utilization.
- Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and product handling.
- Process Optimization
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Team Leadership
- Train, schedule, and manage warehouse staff including forklift operators and pickers.
- Conduct performance evaluations and ensure team motivation and productivity.
- Compliance & Safety
- Enforce safety standards and ensure warehouse cleanliness.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements including necessary permits.
- Implement and maintain security protocols.
- Customer & Vendor Relations
- Coordinate with suppliers and commercial teams.
- Address and resolve customer issues related to warehousing operations.
- Technology & Systems
- Utilize WMS and other technology for inventory tracking and operational control.
- Recommend system upgrades and enhancements.
- Financial Oversight
- Monitor warehouse expenses and manage the operational budget.
- Track invoices and purchase orders for budget alignment.
- Reporting & KPIs
- Maintain operational records and generate data-driven reports and dashboards.
- Provide billing and performance reports in alignment with agreed KPIs.
Key Competencies
- Strong knowledge of warehouse systems and safety standards
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Certifications such as CWDP or CSCP are advantageous
