Job Summary
The Supply Chain Logistics Executive is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing logistics operations to ensure efficient movement and storage of goods. This role plays a vital part in optimizing supply chain performance, reducing costs, and ensuring on-time delivery to customers and distribution points.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, including inbound and outbound shipments.
- Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Optimize transportation routes, delivery schedules, and logistics costs.
- Prepare and manage logistics documentation (e.g., invoices, shipping documents, customs clearance).
- Track shipments and resolve issues such as delays, damages, or lost items.
- Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, health & safety, and internal policies.
- Maintain timely Record of Each Shipments / order in transit.
- Well Versed with SASO / SABER rulings for Smooth Clearance at Saudi Customs.
- Good knowledge of Handling Saudi Customs and making sure shipment clearance are done with in the limited time frame
- Negotiate contracts and rates with freight forwarders, carriers, and other service providers.
- Use ERP/WMS systems to manage and update logistics data.
- Analyze logistics metrics and prepare performance reports.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations in Saudi Arabia.
- Proficient in MS Office and logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, TMS, WMS).
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, transportation modes, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with international shipping and customs documentation.
- Familiarity with lean logistics and continuous improvement practices.
