Structural Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare structural design calculations, drawings, and specifications for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
• Analyze configurations of the basic components of a structure (e.g., beams, columns, foundations).
• Use computer-aided design (CAD), BIM software, and other modeling tools to draft and simulate structural behavior.
• Ensure projects meet legal guidelines, environmental directives, and health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, project managers, and contractors on design and construction.
• Conduct structural inspections and site visits to ensure construction meets the approved design.
• Assess and report on material requirements and costs.
• Investigate and report on structural failures or issues in existing buildings.
• Prepare progress reports, design documents, and technical submittals.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and drafters.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent (preferred or required depending on region).
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in structural design and site supervision.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of international and local building codes (e.g., ACI, BS, Eurocode).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ﷼5,000.00 - ﷼7,000.00 per month
